Tea Seller to Became an IAS Officer

In Madhya Pradesh, there was a boy named Govind Jaiswal. His father was a rickshaw puller, and the family lived in a small rented room. Govind faced constant taunts from neighbors—people often said, “Children of rickshaw pullers can never become officers.”

But instead of breaking down, Govind turned those words into motivation. He studied hard without electricity at home, often under a lantern, and used second-hand books. Despite poverty, he never gave up.

Finally, in 2006,
Govind cleared the UPSC exam and became an IAS officer. His success wasn’t just his own—it became a message for thousands.
“Your background doesn’t define your future. Your efforts do.”
