In a small village, there lived an old potter who made the most beautiful clay pots. People traveled from far away just to buy them.
One day, a young boy asked him,
“Grandfather, how do your pots never break, even when others do?”
The potter smiled, gave him a half-finished pot, and said,
“Come tomorrow.”
The next day, the boy came back. The potter placed the pot in the heater, but only for a short time. It came out weak and cracked.
Then he made another pot, kept it in the heater much longer, and when it came out, it was strong, shining, and ready for years of use.
The boy looked confused. The potter gently said,
“Fire makes clay unbreakable. In life too, the challenges you face are like fire — they may hurt, but they make you strong, beautiful, and lasting.”
