Kalpana Saroj was born into a poor family in Maharashtra, India. She was married off at a very young age, but her husband and in-laws treated her badly. Eventually, she had to return to her parents’ home. Society mocked her, but she did not give up.
She started doing small jobs and slowly entered the business world. With hard work and determination, she revived the bankrupt Kamani Tubes Company and turned it into a multi-million-dollar enterprise.
